I feel as if honesty is my best course of action here, so I am going to attempt to explain an awful situation to the best of my ability in this little white box.
I changed my url (previously nadiaanne) because beloved friends had new adorable Brooklyn Nine-Nine urls, and I wanted one, too. However, I am not tech savvy and I don’t know how to save them, so I just changed mine thinking that I could create a new blog to save my old one (nadiaanne) immediately after.
Well, in less than ten seconds (and this is not an exaggeration), the nadiaanne url was snatched up. By a sexchat/porn blog.
Which meant that anyone who typed in my old url to get to my page would find porn, with no explanation. That was my worst nightmare, as it was associated with my name, but I was in no way, shape, or form affiliated with those people.
HOWEVER, after a hysterically crafted e-mail to tumblr and a lovely friend walking me through google protocol, they deemed it spam and deleted it.
ANYWAY, the nadiaanne url is now mine again, but I will not be using it to update outside of this message (largely because of this debacle). If you would like my new url, please don’t hesitate to message me.Thanks,
the one (and only!) nadiaanne
