A Failure at Anonymity...
Q: Two questions, and two facts. Fact one: I love you. Fact two: My phone is broken so I have no way of sending or receiving phone calls/texts. Questions one: Can I see you either Friday night or Saturday day? Question two: Can I possibly borrow a dress to wear to a friend's wedding on Saturday night that would be fun to dance in?

Fact two: That is unfortunate, but if anyone can sympathize it is the gal who has broken her phone approximately 80 times…
Answer one: Yes! I texted you that, but obviously as per the previous fact, you did not receive it. I shall just have to rearrange Friday eve with my sister.
Answer two: Sure you can. Take a gander on Friday. In the sort-of words of the little mermaid, I have gadgets and gizmos a-plenty, I have dresses and dresses galore.
Q: If, like Dharma circa Dharma and Greg, you were allowed to choose your own name, what name would you choose?

There are a multitude of names that I find lovely, but if I were to choose my own, I think it would have to be Cordelia.
I just love that name. In Latin it means heart, which I think is beautiful, and in that wacky United Kingdom related mythology it means daughter or jewel of the sea, which would make me feel like a mermaid.
I also love it for the following three nerdy reasons
- It is said that Shakespeare was the first person to write down the name, similar to how the popularity of Wendy as a girls name is attributed to J.M. Barrie and Peter Pan.
- In Anne of Green Gables, when Anne Shirley first meets Marilla, she begs to be called Cordelia because she thinks that it is “perfectly elegant”. Fun fact, my two middle names are my grandmothers’ first names, but only one is for my grandmother specifically. The other was always destined to exist because my mother was obsessed with the Anne novels.
- I grew to love Cordelia on Buffy like nobody’s business. And it offered “Cordy” as a perfectly acceptable and adorable shortening. I think Delia is pretty, too.
Clearly in addition to my Buffy marathon this summer, I must also re-watch the entire 1985 miniseries Anne of Green Gables with Megan Follows. I love it when a plan comes together!
I am exhausted, but unable to sleep. This is resulting in boredom and the constant refreshing of my internet world…

Oddly enough, you are the third person to suggest carrier pigeons as a means to communicate with me this week.
Apparently the key when sending me a message is to send it a multitude of times?
Otherwise the messages get swallowed into the internetweb world alongside lost dryer socks.
If you are a person who has sent me a message recently, and I have not responded to it, it is not because I am a non-message-responding jerk, it is because I did not receive your message!
Allegedly, a few people have sent me messages that the interweb ate. If you are so inclined, try sending it again?
I went to a concert last eve!
It was lovely and fantastic, but I am old and cannot handle crowds.
Therefore, my phone is filled with approximately three pictures of almost stage, and twenty pictures of this gal and me <3
Q: I don't know why my question didn't show up the first time, but hopefully second time's a charm? My question is as follows: Can you give a list of your five (or ten, if you can't narrow it down) favourite/funniest travelling moments with this little ol' lazy tumblr-er? And, as a sidenote, I thought of this question before you posted the pics of us and the ocean. Coincidence?
